With MailBlue, you can connect multiple Gmail, IMAP, or Exchange mail accounts to CRM Deals. When you use this feature, emails to and from will automatically sync to the contacts for an 'open deal' in your MailBlue account. These emails will be added to the deal record of the contact and their profile page under their activity stream. This feature does not sync emails to and from the secondary contact person in a deal.
We recommend linking your email accounts to 'CRM Deals' to keep communication with your contacts regular and organised.

Please note: If you want to test this connection after the installation is complete, you can use a test contact with a different email address than the one you use to connect to CRM (Deals). If these two email addresses are the same, emails will not sync.
Link your Gmail account
Click on 'Deals' > 'Deal Settings' in the left menu
Under the 'Email accounts' section, click on the 'Add Account' button
A window will appear. Enter your email address in the designated field and click on the 'Log in' button
Click on the Google account you want to connect to MailBlue
Enter your password and click 'Next'
Review the permissions and click 'Allow'
The deal settings page will reload. Your email address is now connected to your MailBlue account.
Link your IMAP account
Click on 'Deals' > 'Deal Settings' in the left menu

A window will appear. Enter your email address and click on the 'Log in' button
Enter your password and click 'Log in'

Once connected, we will attempt to sync all previous emails you have for the primary contact on an open deal. This will occur during the initial connection. If you create a new deal for a new contact, this feature will sync emails in the future. These emails will appear in the deal stream of the contact.
Link your Exchange account
When you have enabled two-factor authentication for your account, you need to generate an app password. Use Microsoft's instructions to learn how.
Click on 'Deals' > 'Deal Settings' in the left menu
Under the 'Email accounts' section, click on the 'Add Account' button
A window will appear. Enter your email address and click on the 'Log in' button
Click on 'Redeem'
Enter your password and click on 'Log in'
The deal settings page will reload. Your email address is now linked to your MailBlue account.
If you encounter an error when trying to connect, try the following:
Specify your username: If your email address is different from the username you use to log in to Windows, try using your Windows username. To do this, click on the 'Advanced Settings' link in the window and enter your Windows username in the 'Change Username' field.
Check your server name: The login can automatically detect most server names, but sometimes you may need to manually enter the server details. If you have access to Outlook Web App for your email, the server name you see when logging in is the correct server name. If you are unsure about what information to enter to link your account to MailBlue, contact your server administrator.
Connection issues: If the data you entered is correct but you are unable to log in, there may be a connection issue. Make sure you have not entered a server name that requires VPN access.
If you continue to experience issues connecting your Exchange account to CRM Deals, please contact the support team.

Privacy
On the 'deal settings' page, there is a privacy option that you can set for each connected email account. Here you can choose:
Anyone can see emails from this address > Allow or Do not allow: Select whether you want other users to see emails linked to your open deal or not
Only I can see emails from this address: Other users can see if an email has been sent or received for your deal. They cannot see the subject line or content of the email.
