How do I export data from my campaign reports?

You can export data from a campaign report to a .csv file for your internal records.

Which data can I export from my campaign report?

Below is a list of all the data that you can export from a campaign report. It is important to note that you need to export each category individually, and each category will be exported to its own .csv file.

  • Opened: list of contacts who received and opened your email.
  • Unopened: list of contacts who received your email but did not open it.
  • Clicks: list of all clicks in your campaign. It also shows the number of unique and total clicks for each link.
  • Clicks per link: list of unique contacts who clicked on each link in your campaign.
  • GEO: list of contacts who interacted with your campaign and their location in the world.
  • Forwarded: list of contacts who forwarded your email via the "Forward to a Friend" link. It shows the forwarding date and the number of times they forwarded the email.
  • Social Media Shares: list of all shares on Facebook and Twitter.
  • Shared on Facebook: list of shares on Facebook.
  • Mentioned on Twitter: list of all mentions on Twitter.
  • Unsubscribes: list of contacts who received your email and clicked on the unsubscribe link.
  • Email clients: list of email clients used by your contacts (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)
  • Campaign Performance: available in Plus, Professional, and Enterprise plans. Here you will find the performance of all sent campaigns in your account. How can I export the data from my campaign report?

  1. Click on 'Reports' in the left-hand menu of your MailBlue environment.

Or:

  1. Click on 'Campaigns' → 'All Campaigns'.
  2. Now, reports for all sent campaigns will be displayed. Click on the campaign for which you want to export data.
  3. Click here in the left-hand menu, under 'Overview', on the section you want to export. You can choose from Opened / Read, Clicks, GEO, Forwarded, Social, Replied, Unsubscribes, and Email clients.

    If you want to export contacts that have bounced back from the list, click on 'Bounces'. This is located under 'Overview → Summary':

  4. In the top right of the campaign report, you will now see a link labelled 'Export'. Click on this link to export the campaign data displayed on your screen:

Please note: it is not possible to export the entire 'Overview' of your campaign report.
