How can I remove a contact from the internal exclusion list?

What is the internal exclusion list?

The exclusion list is a list of contacts that do not receive emails from you. There are two types of exclusion lists:

  • The exclusion list that you can manage yourself. You can read how to do that here.
  • The internal exclusion list, which is managed by MailBlue. Contacts end up on this list when they unsubscribe from your mailing list and choose the option 'I have never given permission to receive these emails, please report abuse.' For privacy reasons, this exclusion cannot be seen in your own exclusion list. Contacts that are added to the internal exclusion list are automatically unsubscribed from every list.

You can recognize that a contact is on the internal exclusion list by looking up the contact and clicking on a list from which he has been unsubscribed. If it says 'This contact is on the exclusion list because they marked your email as spam', then the contact is on an internal exclusion list.

How can I remove a contact from the internal exclusion list?

If a contact still wants to receive emails from you, you can submit a request via this form.

By law, you are required to include a confirmation from the contact with the request. This confirmation must contain the contact's email address and explicitly state that the contact wants to receive emails again.
