To grant access to an external website, for example to create contacts, we use an API Key. This is a secret key to access your account. You can find this API Key in your MailBlue account by following the steps below.
- Click on 'Settings' at the bottom left of the menu.
- Then click on 'Developer' in the menu.

You will find the URL with the key under API access.
If your account is newly created, it may take up to 3 hours for the API to work fully.
Please note: if you use the reset button, a new key will be generated. You may need to reconnect your current links/integrations with your new API key afterwards.
