Importing a list from another email program or an existing contact list is quite easy. First, you need to create a list in MailBlue. You will then receive a pop-up asking you to name the list, enter a URL for which the list is used, and specify how the contacts on your list were acquired and why they are receiving the emails. Be sure to do this carefully, as otherwise the platform may flag your emails as spam.
Once you have created the list, you can start importing contacts. This can easily be done by importing a CSV file. Often, when you export a list from another email program, it is automatically converted into a CSV file, which you can then upload to MailBlue. Click here if you want to know what a CSV file is.
Of course, you can also manually enter contacts or use the copy/paste function. Additionally, there are various integrations with other programs to automatically add contacts to MailBlue.
After importing a list, you may need to answer some questions before the import is finalised. Answer these questions carefully, as otherwise the platform may flag your campaigns or automations as spam.
