How can I edit multiple contacts at once?

To edit multiple contacts at once, MailBlue has a handy tool called the bulk editor. In this article, we'll show you how this tool works.

With this tool, you can:

  • Add or remove tags
  • Subscribe or unsubscribe contacts from a list
  • Add or remove contacts from automations
  • Update fields (contact information)

For example, you can tag contacts that meet a certain condition simultaneously. Or if you have a group of contacts that you would like to add to an automation, you can do so with the bulk editor.

How does the bulk editor work?

  1. Go to 'Contacts' in the left menu.

  2. Select the contacts you want to edit using the checkbox and click on 'Edit'. Want to edit all contacts? Then click on the 'Edit all' button. You don't need to check any checkboxes.

  4. Once you select an action, a dropdown menu will appear. Here you can directly select the option you want or search for it in the search bar. In this example, we are adding the contacts to an automation.

  5. Click on 'Add to an automation'.
