How do I manage my custom fields?

You can add, remove, or modify custom fields within MailBlue. Custom fields are added when you need to request additional information from your contacts. In this article, we'll show you how to do this.

You can find your custom fields under 'Contacts' > 'Manage' > 'Fields'. Here, you will see an overview of all your fields. You can modify or delete existing fields here.

Create a new field

  1. Click on 'Add Field' in the top right corner.

  2. Choose the type of field you want to create, give the field a name, and click 'Add'.

    You will then see the custom field visible in your contacts. You can also add this field to your forms now.

Modify or delete custom field

  1. Click on the pencil icon next to the custom field you want to modify.

  2. Make the necessary changes to the custom field within this screen and click 'Save'.

    The custom field is now updated, and you will see this reflected in your contacts. If you have the old field already online on a form, make sure to re-publish the updated form on your website with the new embed code.

  3. If you want to delete custom fields that you no longer use, click on the trash can icon next to the field. Then select all checkboxes and click 'Delete'.

The custom field has now been deleted.
