Although it is possible to use custom fonts in your outgoing communication through your MailBlue account, this is not recommended as best practice. Our email designer offers a variety of fonts that are accepted by most email service providers. This means that most (if not all contacts) will see the correct font in your email. However, if it is essential to use your own custom font, there are some important things to consider:
-
You need to create a custom-coded HTML email
You can also use an HTML content block in the email designer to add the custom font. Custom fonts cannot be uploaded via the standard font selector in the MailBlue email designer. -
Your custom font may not be supported by the email service providers of your contacts
This means that contacts may not see your custom font when they open your email. If you wish, as a precaution, you can specify a fallback font alongside your custom font (when creating your own coded email). If no fallback font is chosen, the contact will see Times New Roman instead.
Please note: We recommend using web-safe fonts for your outgoing communication that use a custom code.
