How do I place a form on my website?

This article explains the steps on how to integrate a MailBlue form on your website.

Tip: haven't created a form in MailBlue yet? First learn how to create a form.

To integrate the form, follow these steps:

  1. Click on 'Website' in the left main menu.
  2. Then click on the 'Forms' subtab.
  3. Click on the form you want to integrate.
  4. The form and editing module will open; click on 'Integrate' in the top right corner.
  5. You will now be taken to a page with 'Integrate your form' at the top. You will see two codes:
    • Simple embed: this is a piece of code that you can place on your website to make the form visible. If you make changes to the form later on, they will be immediately reflected on your website. Therefore, this is the option we recommend.
    • Full embed: this includes the full code and CSS of the form. Some website systems may have difficulty displaying the simple embed code correctly, in which case this option is better. Please note; if you make changes to the form within MailBlue, you will need to reinsert the code on your website.
  6. Go to your website. This process varies for each website system, but let's take WordPress as an example. Most WordPress themes offer the option to place a code block / custom HTML block on your page. Insert this block on your page and paste the code from the MailBlue integration page. After saving and publishing, the form will be visible on your website.

Please note: this is an example of a WordPress environment. However, every environment is different and there are also various themes available within WordPress. It may look different for you.
