In this article, you will learn how to set up Meta information on your MailBlue landing page. This ensures that people can find your page once it is published. MailBlue landing pages (Pages) are available with a Plus or Professional subscription.
You can set up Meta information for your landing page to help leads find your content. Set the title that will be displayed in the Google search engine, an image for when the URL of your page is shared on social media, or relevant keywords to help people find your page. Providing each piece of metadata can improve SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

How to set up the metadata of your landing page
1. Go to 'Website' in the MailBlue menu.
2. Click on 'Pages' on the left side of your screen.
3. Identify the landing page for which you want to set the Meta information.
4. Click on the drop-down arrow next to 'Edit layout' for the desired landing page.
5. Click on 'View page settings'.
6. Click on the 'Meta' tab (usually the first tab).
5. The Meta display is loaded.
Metadata for search settings
In the 'Search Metadata' box, you have the opportunity to set the information that appears during a search. On the right side under 'Search Preview', you can see how the page will appear in a search.
Search Meta information includes:

Favicon
Here you can set the favicon of your company. This image will be displayed in the web address bar and next to your page name in the bookmark. -
Title
Use the title field to define the purpose of your page. Titles are displayed in search engine results - they are meaningful. -
Description
Use this field to describe the content of your page. Descriptions are displayed on the search engine results page. Descriptions are also meaningful. -
Keywords
Keywords are used by search engines to determine the relevance of your page in relation to a personal search query.
Metadata for social media
In the 'Social Metadata' section, you can set how the page information will appear when you link your page to a social media platform such as Facebook.
Note that you can choose to use the same title and description that you have set for the above search metadata. If you prefer to use a different title and description for your social metadata, uncheck the box for 'Use the SEO title and description for social information'.
