Information included in the deal forecasting report
Deal forecasting statistics
The four statistics listed at the top of the report quickly display data at the highest level within the parameters you set and rely on information entered in the 'Expected close date' field for your deals.
These four statistics include:
-
Total deal count
The total number of deals marked as won or lost, or that are open with a predicted closing date. -
Forecast value
This is the value of all deals with a predicted closing date. -
Actual won amount
This is the value of all deals marked as won with a predicted closing date. -
Forecast Accuracy
This shows how accurate your predictions are overall. For example, if a deal was predicted to close on January 4, 2021, and was marked as 'Won' on January 4, 2021, that would be a prediction accuracy of 100%. If the deal was instead marked as 'Won' on February 4, the prediction accuracy would be 0%.
Clicking on any of these statistics allows you to export all deals related to that specific statistic.
Dynamic timeline chart
The dynamic timeline chart is displayed below the deal forecasting reports. It shows both the total predicted values (purple bars) and the actual values marked as won (orange bars) side by side, across different time periods.
Hovering over a bar with your mouse will display the dynamic timelines (date-based) as well as the total value for that timeline.
Clicking on a bar allows you to export all deals related to that specific bar.

The dynamic timeline table is displayed below the dynamic timeline chart. It shows the following statistics for each deal owner:
