What is the Content Manager?

The Content Manager is designed to make managing images as seamless as possible. It also ensures that all users can collaborate and use shared images from one place.

In this article, we will guide you through the following topics:

What is the Content Manager?

The Content Manager is a central environment where you can store, organise, and share your images with all users within your MailBlue account. You can use the Content Manager to upload, organise, search for files, and share images from shared forms and campaigns.

Where to find the Content Manager?

In this section, we describe where you can find the Content Manager within your MailBlue account:

  1. Go to the menu on the left side of your screen and click on 'Campaigns'.
  2. In the submenu click on 'Content'. Here you will find the Content Manager.

Content Manager capabilities

Below you will find all the capabilities within the Content Manager.

Central location

The Content Manager has its own place within the campaign section of your account. This allows users to manage all their visual material from a single location.

Bulk actions

Through bulk actions, users can select multiple images to perform various actions with a single click. For example, you can select four images and then drag them all to a folder, delete, or export them.

Bulk upload

With bulk upload, you can add multiple images at once to the Content Manager. This feature is available in both the centralised Content Manager and the design environment of your campaign.

Folder structure

You can add personalised folders with a folder structure to organise your images. Users can access these folders from the central Content Manager or via the design environment of the campaigns. If you delete a folder, the folder disappears, but the images in the folder remain.

Users can tag images with memorable search terms using keywords, such as 'dog' or 'beach'. Once an image is tagged, users can search for these keywords to find the image or to perform bulk actions on all images that match the keyword.

The search function

Users can use the search function to find images that match a title or keyword associated with them.

Sorting function

The sorting function allows you to sort your images from new to old, old to new, large to small, small to large, or in alphabetical order from A to Z. This can be used in tile view or list view. Please note that this function is not available from the campaign builder. It can only be accessed from the Content Manager itself.

Tile / list view

Users can switch between tile and list view to see their images in one of the two displays. Both options display a maximum of 20 images per page.

More about the Content Manager

  • Each page of the Content Manager displays 20 images at a time

  • The following file types are supported in the Content Manager: jpg, png, gif, pdf. The maximum file size allowed is 10 MB

  • You can select multiple images to add them to a personalised folder

  • If you delete a folder, the images within the folder will not be deleted

  • If you have images saved in the Content Manager, you can also access them from the campaign builder, in your automations, and in your forms

Additional image options

Aside from editing your images, there are more ways to use your images in the Content Manager.

  • Rename image;
  • Add to folder;
  • Get URL;
  • Download image;
  • Delete image.

You can create an image URL in Content Manager in two ways.

    2. Open a specific image in Content Manager and click on the URL icon. A window will appear with the image URL that you can copy and paste.
