Please note: In general, we strongly advise against making adjustments in an active automation. This can lead to unexpected errors. Therefore, always set the automation to 'Inactive' before you start working on it!
If there is a situation where it is necessary for the automation to be 'Active' (e.g. contacts starting at a specific point), it is better to set this aside.
Copying email only
1. Hover over the relevant email in your automation.
2. Drag the email to the desired location.
3. Click on 'Copy single action'.
When you move the email in this way, any changes you make will be reflected in both locations.
Copying and modifying email
1. Click on the plus icon.
2. Choose 'Send an email'.
3. Enter an email name.
4. Click on 'Start with a template' and then choose an email designer.
5. Click on 'Continue'.
6. Click on 'Save and close' in the top right corner.
7. Next to 'Edit', click on the arrow.
8. Click on 'Copy and edit'.
Now, if you make a modification in one of the emails, it will not be visible in the other email.
