With MailBlue, you can create a standalone campaign or automation email from HTML coding. In this article, you will learn how to do this.
By using an HTML campaign layout, you can code an email yourself as a user. This is a good option when you want more control over the layout of the campaigns. Knowledge of HTML is required to do this.
You can set up an HTML campaign as follows:
- Click on 'Campaigns' in your MailBlue environment.
- Click on the 'Create a campaign' button in the top right corner.
- Give your campaign a name in the designated text field. Then select a campaign type and click 'Next'.
- Click on the list to which you want to send your campaign. Then proceed with the 'Next' button.
- Next, you will be in the 'Design' tab, where you can first select the desired designer. To create an HTML campaign, choose 'Custom HTML' here.
- Depending on the designer and any templates created for this purpose, you can choose a template. If you prefer to start without a template, click on 'Start from scratch'.
- Next, the sender information menu will open. Review this information for accuracy and name the email again. Then click 'Continue'.
- You can now edit the campaign with custom HTML coding by typing in the HTML editor on the left side. A preview will be shown in the right window. Click the 'Next' button when you have finished formatting the campaign.
- Next, the summary of the campaign will be displayed. Here, you will have the opportunity to review all the information about the campaign once more and potentially edit it before sending. You can also schedule the campaign to be sent at a later time.
- If the campaign is exactly as you want it, you can choose 'Send now' to send the campaign immediately. Click 'Save and close' if you want to edit/complete the campaign later.
