How do I export accounts from MailBlue?

You can use the 'Export' button to export your accounts to a CSV file. By doing this, you can edit account data outside of your MailBlue account. Please note that you need permission to export accounts.

Exporting accounts

You can export accounts to a CSV file. Each export contains a link where you can download the results. This link is located on the 'Import/Export Status' page in your account. The download links expire after 30 days.

  1. Click on 'Contacts' in the left menu.
  2. Click on the 'Accounts' option in the submenu.
  3. Click on the 'Export' button at the top of the page.

The export will start immediately, and you can download it in the form of a CSV file. You can close this option or the window if needed. Once the export is complete, you can download it under results. These results are displayed under 'Settings', in the 'Import/Export Status' section.

After initiating an export, you can access the download link via the status page. This download link expires 30 days after performing the export.

  1. Click on 'Deals' on the left menu

  2. Choose the 'Import/Export Status' option in the submenu

  3. The status page will load. Click on the 'Export' tab.

  4. Click on the 'Download' button and select the appropriate file.

The CSV file includes all custom accent fields and the following standard account fields:

  • Account ID
  • Username
  • Website
  • Date and time the account was created
  • Updated date and time
  • Description
  • Address 1
  • Address 2
  • City
  • State or province
  • Postcode
  • Country
  • Number of employees
  • Annual revenue
  • Industry

Viewing account export history

The status page displays all imports and exports of your account. Please note that you need permission to export accounts and view information from this account export on the page.

  1. Click on 'Settings'.
  2. Choose the 'Import/Export Status' page in the submenu
  3. The status page will load. Click on the 'Export' tab.

The Export page displays the following information for each export file:

  • Day, date and time of the export
  • Account user who initiated the export
  • Export type (from Deals or Accounts)
  • Number of records in the export
  • Expiration date of the export file
  • Export status
  • Download link for exporting
