Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with uploading files! Fortunately, at MailBlue, we have some tips to help you identify the cause and solve it.
What does the message 'The Content Manager only supports JPEG, PNG, GIF, and PDF files?' mean?
This message usually occurs due to the following reasons:
-
Safari does not fully support the new Content Manager at that time.
-
You have saved a file in a different file format.
-
The file you are trying to add is too large.
The Content Manager in combination with Safari
The Content Manager is not entirely compatible with Safari, as the system does not have the ability to upload images/files. In this case, you can (temporarily) use the Chrome browser. Therefore, we recommend using Chrome when working in your MailBlue account.
Incorrect file format
Another possible cause of the error message is uploading a file in an incorrect format. For example, if your image was originally a .PNG but you saved it as a .JPEG, the Content Manager will not work. In this case, you will need to save the image again as a .PNG to upload it. The Content Manager is designed not to accept conflicting information like this.
File is too large
Files that you can add to the Content Manager must be smaller than 10MB. If the file is larger than 10MB, it cannot be added.
