From 3 January 2023, MailBlue will have a new design. This design includes new, fresh colours and also a new layout. In this article, we will discuss the biggest differences between the old and new design and the benefits for you as a user.
The following differences will be covered in this article:
- Collapsible menus
- New location of lists and fields
- Reports per individual component
- Website tracking under 'Website'
Collapsible menus
In the old design, the sub-menu was always expanded, taking up less space on your screen. In the new design, you can collapse the sub-menu using the navigation arrows. This way, you have more space on your screen, better overview, and can work more efficiently.

Lists and fields under 'Contacts'
In the new design, lists and fields can be found under 'Contacts'. Previously, lists were separate in the menu and fields were part of it. In the new design, all this information is under the collective heading 'Contacts'.
It is useful to find this information in the same place because lists and fields are closely linked to 'Contacts'; a list is a group of contacts to whom you want to send the same emails, and custom fields are added within contacts if you want to request additional information from them.

Additionally, two components under 'Contacts' in the new design have been given new names:
- 'Content' was previously called 'Content manager'.
- 'Campaign templates' was previously 'Template manager'.
Reports
Previously, you could only find reports of your contacts, campaigns, automations, and forms under 'Reports' in the menu. Form reports fell under 'Contact reports'.
In the new design, you can still find the reports in a separate 'Reports' section, but you can also find the reports of the individual components within the component itself. This way, you have all the information of the component in one place, allowing you to work more efficiently.

An overview of all reports can be found under 'Reports' in the menu:
A report per component can be found in the sub-menu within the component itself. Below is an example of where you can find campaign reports within 'Campaigns':
Website tracking
In the old design, you could find 'Website tracking' under 'Settings'. In the new design, 'Website tracking' can be found under the 'Website' section in the menu.
