Different environments
When you create a MailBlue account, you get access to two environments. The MailBlue environment and the customer portal. In your MailBlue environment, you literally work on your email marketing, while in the customer portal, you manage your subscription. In this article, we extensively explain the difference.
It is important to remember that both environments have different purposes and can be logged into differently. It may not be the case, but it is possible that you have a different password/login details for both environments, depending on what you set up during the request. If you are unable to log in, it is useful to check if this is the case for you.
Attention! The customer portal and the MailBlue environment are connected. In your customer portal, you can click through to log in to the MailBlue environment.
Login issues customer portal
If you are experiencing login issues in the customer portal (login.mailblue.nl) and have checked your password and email address, there are a few things you can try to resolve your login problem.
Are you getting the message 'Pop-up window blocked'?
Try disabling the pop-up block in your browser. Below is an overview of how to do this in the Chrome browser:
- Open Chrome on your computer.
- Click on 'More' in the top right corner -> 'Settings'.
- Click on 'Site settings' under 'Privacy and security'.
- Click on 'Pop-ups and redirects'.
- Set the settings at the top to 'Allowed'.
- Go to 'Security settings' (keyboard shortcut Command + ,).
- Or via 'Safari' -> 'Preferences'.
- Here you can uncheck 'Block pop-up windows'.
- If you are using the new version of MacOS, you can find this option under 'Websites' -> 'Pop-up windows' -> mailblue.nl -> 'Allow'.
Is the browser freezing or are you experiencing other issues?
Often, following the steps below or trying different things can help.
- Log out completely (yourself) once more and log back into MailBlue;
- Delete cookie and cache data;
- Work from a different browser (preferably Chrome);
- Restart the browser once;
- Log in via an incognito window instead of a regular browser;
- Disable any Chrome extensions.
You can also give the web browser a 'hard refresh' by using the 'Command / Control + Shift + R' combination (depending on whether you are using an Apple or Windows computer).
You can also apply these 'tricks' when experiencing login issues in the MailBlue environment.
Login issues MailBlue environment
If you are unable to log in to the MailBlue environment, it is important to check if you are using the correct password and especially the correct username.
If you do not remember your password or have doubts, you can request a new password via 'Forgot password'.
If the browser keeps loading or if you experience other issues, you can also follow the steps above for this environment.
Login issues MailBlue Academy
It takes a few days for your account to be created in the Academy. On the first day, you will receive a lot of information from us, which is why we always wait one extra day before sending information about the MailBlue Academy.
