What is the sales performance report?

This article covers a more extensive option within your reports in the form of the sales performance report. This report provides you with a leaderboard overview of your sales team's performance. The information is displayed in top-level statistics and visual bar charts. By using this report, you will quickly see the current health of your sales team and gain historical information.

With this report, you can:

  • View sales performance statistics, including total deal value, total number of deals, and average deal value. You also have access to visual bar charts showing deal value per stage and the number of deals for each sales representative on your team. From an additional table, you can see which owner the deal belongs to in the selected pipeline, along with the deal value.
  • View information on deal status (open, won, or lost), currency, or pipeline.
  • Export each statistic, chart, and table individually to a CSV, TXT, Excel (2007 or later), JSON, HTML, or Markdown file.

Accessing the sales performance report

1. Click on 'Reports' in the menu on the left

2. Open the 'Deals' tab and then click on 'Sales Performance'

The 'Sales Performance' report will load and display the top metric data on your team's performance.

Click on the dropdown menus at the top of the report to filter data by:

  • Deal status (open, won, or lost)
  • Currency
  • Pipeline

Statistics dashboard

The statistics dashboard displays three sets of data. The insightful figures depend on the filter(s) you use at the top of the report to view the data. The three statistics displayed are:

  • Total deal value
    Deal value represents the total value for deals.
  • Number of deals
    Total number of deals comprising that total value.
  • Average deal value
    Average value for each deal.

Total Deal Value Chart (per phase)

The 'Total Deal Value (per phase)' chart provides an overview of each deal owner in the selected pipeline and their total deal value per phase. You can hover over the bars in the chart to see a summary of the number of deals in a specific phase, the name, and the value for all deals in that phase.

Deals in Pipeline Table

The deals in pipeline table contains all deals in the selected pipeline, along with the deal owner, stage, deal creation date, currency, and deal value.

By clicking on the column headers in the table, you can sort data in ascending or descending order.

Exporting Data from the Sales Performance Report

In the top right of each statistic, chart, and table in the report, there is an icon with three dots. Clicking on this icon will display the option "Download Data". Click on this option to download a CSV file of the chart data.

Please note that there is no option to download all data in the report at once.
